The Nordmeyer LMSR-H Modular Dynamic Probing Rig is the ideal solution for the following applications

  • Soil Sampling
  • Dynamic Probing

The LMSR-H Modular dynamic probing rig is a highly functional soil investigation rig which can be easily transported in separate component parts due to its modular design. This makes it especially suitable if difficult terrains like slopes, (railway) embankments, dams or dykes are met.

The system is mounted on a rigid tubular steel frame which carries four crank legs on the corner points to erect and level out the unit.

The LMSR-H Modular is driven by a hydraulic motor fed by a separate power pack. It can be used for soil-bearing capacity tests, compaction tests and for soil sampling. Dynamic probing standards DP-L, DP-M, DP-H, DP-SH as well as SPT can be carried out. Adaption for different drop weight masses is realized by removing or adding weight bodies at the drop weight mechanism.

Drop height can be varied between 500 mm and 750 mm by means of an adaptor bracket. The mobility of the articulated mast (erects/folds hydraulically) allows for taking soil samples at ease.
