Adaptors & Substitutes
Drillwell Ltd manufacture a wide range of Adaptors and Substitutes of which are couplings used to connect down the hole tubular products that have differing sizes of threaded ends. Because of the many hundreds of combinations possible it is impossible to list them individually however Drillwell can supply any combination of threaded adaptors required. The term “Pin” denotes a male thread and “Box” a female thread.
All Drillwell Adaptors and Substitutes are manufactured from ally steel and with threads in accordance with the appropriate International, European and National Standards. They are normally screwed with right hand threads both ends, but combinations of left and right hand threads or both ends threaded left hand are available.

Adaptors & Substitutes – Casing Adaptors ( Casing Plugs )
Drillwell manufacture a wide range of Casing Adaptors ( Casing Plugs ), these components are used to connect the Drill string to the Casing string. They are available with Pin to Pin, Box to Pin or Box to Box threaded end configuration and may be supplied screwed with any combination of imperial or metric Rod and Casing Pin and Box threads as required.
Adaptors from any of the above Drill Rods to Waterwell Casing are also available on request. We can manufacture any combination of Rod or Casing threaded adaptor not listed above on request.
