The Beretta WL219 SP is a portable modular drill rig and is the ideal solution for the following applications
- Wireline Core Drilling With NQ, HQ, PQ Systems
- Reverse Circulation Systems
The WL219 SP can be transported with a small helicopter with an 800kg pulling force or can be entirely disassembled to be manually transported inside forests or inaccessible locations; the skid mounted unit has a top drive rotary head with floating shaft to compensate for the threads of the rods; the head can be moved on its side to allow the core to be recovered by means of the overshot.
The mast stroke is 2000 mm, suitable for using 1.5-metre-long rods, and has a maximum pulling force of 4.0 ton; it features a wireline winch with a 260-metre rope and an 800kg pulling force; the pump for the drilling fluid is fitted onto a small support equipped with rubber wheels, a directional control valve and a litres counter; the standard version is fitted with 2 hydraulic control units with a 40 HP (total 80 HP) Kubota turbo diesel engine and an independent 100 litres hydraulic oil tank; to improve performance, a third hydraulic control unit can be added to take the available power to 120HP; each control unit has a set of 7-metre-long extensions between the control unit, the control panel and the hydraulic oil tank; the drill rig is supplied complete with all the drilling equipment; a single hydraulic control unit with a 100HP Kubota diesel engine is available as an optional.
