Drillwell Ltd manufacture a wide range of Holding Equipment of which includes Safety Foot Clamps, Rigid Pipe Wrenches, Full Grip Wrenches (Wrap Around Type), Chain Wrenches, Casing Clamps, Spider Bowls and Slips in various sizes.
Holding Equipment – Safety Foot Clamps
We manufacture a range of Safety Foot Clamps with replaceable heat treated jaws capable of accommodating from EW to HW Drill Rods and Casings sizes up to HW.
The design incorporates safety springs which absorb any shock caused by sudden closing of the clamp on the Drill Rod before it can damage the operators foot.
These clamps may also be hydraulically operated from the Drill hydraulics system by the means of an additional hydraulic conversion kit, please email or contact us for further information.
Holding Equipment – Pipe Wrenches (Stillson)
These wrenches are supplied for general use in making and breaking threaded joints on Drill Rods and Casings. Sizes other than listed below are available, please email or contact us for further information.

Holding Equipment – Full Grip Wrenches (Wrap Around Type)
A full range of full grip wrenches is available from Drillwell. They are specially designed for use with thin wall bits, inner and outer tubes, Wireline Rods and thin wall Casings. Holding Equipment – Casing Clamps
We design and manufacture a wide range of Holding Clamps for use with all sizes of Casings. They are normally used to suspend the Casing at ground level or at the Rig Table or centraliser level. Generally they are of fabricated construction and have the bore which grips the Casing, hard surfaced serrated or plain. Please email or contact us for further information.
Holding Equipment – Spider Bowls and Slips
We design and manufacture a wide range of Spider Bowls and Slips of which are used to suspend the Casing in the borehole at ground level of the slips can be used to suspend Casing at the Rig Table or centraliser level. The tapered bore spider bowl is fabricated from high quality steel and the serrated slip jaws are made from alloy steel and heat treated for strength and long life.
