Water Swivels Heavy Duty For Rotary Drilling

Our Heavy Duty range of Water Swivels are used to carry the flushing medium from the pressure supply hose to the rotating Drill String. This flushing medium may be water, mud fluids or compressed air. The spindle of the water swivel is supported in the bearings of which depending on the type of swivel they are either plain or ball bearings and are grease lubricated. The drilling fluid is sealed in by a combination of “V” packing and “O” rings.

The Swivel spindles are subject to high loads and therefore are manufactured from high grade alloy steel and are heat treated or in some cases hard surfaced to improve strength and wear properties.
